Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is best known for its professional football department, which has played in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football, since its inception in 1956. Along with Ajax and Feyenoord, PSV is one of the country's " big three" clubs that have dominated the Eredivisie. The club was founded in 1913 as a team for Philips employees. Kevin Hofland
Kevin Hofland (born 7 June 1979) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player, and was last the head coach of Eerste Divisie club Willem II. A centre back during his career, Hofland played 15 active seasons in which he amassed Eredivisie totals of 182 games and eight goals in 10 years, namely for PSV and Feyenoord. He also represented VfL Wolfsburg and AEK Larnaca in Germany and Cyprus, respectively. Hofland became a Dutch international in the 2000s, earning 7 caps. Club career Fortuna Hofland was born in Heerlen, but grew up in Brunssum, Limburg. Sander Keller
Sander Keller (born 18 September 1979) is a Dutch football coach and former footballer. He played as a defender for Utrecht, RBC Roosendaal, Neuchâtel Xamax and Almere City. He is currently an assistant coach at Utrecht. Playing career Born in Amsterdam, Keller began his career at his local club, Zeeburgia, at the age of six. He played regularly for the team before being spotted by Ajax youth scouts. He was then offered a place in the Ajax Academy a year later, and started practicing with the club. Bas Van den Brink (born 11 September 1982) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played primarily as a centre back. Club career Early career Van den Brink played for Dutch clubs FC Utrecht, FC Emmen and Almere City FC before moving to Australia. Van den Brink made his debut in professional football at FC Utrecht. Michael Lamey (born 29 November 1979) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right back. Playing career Born in Amsterdam, Lamey began his professional career with RKC Waalwijk, before making moves to PSV Eindhoven, MSV Duisburg and Arminia Bielefeld. After his transfer from PSV to Duisburg, the two teams played in a pre-season friendly and Lamey scored an own goal in favour of his previous team. René Ponk
René Ponk (born 21 October 1971 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Football career In a professional career which lasted 15 years Ponk appeared in Eredivisie games 120 over the course of eight seasons, with FC Utrecht (six) and Sparta Rotterdam (two). He also competed in Spain with SD Compostela for three years, playing 19 matches in his only campaign in La Liga and suffering team relegation. Guus Hiddink
Guus Hiddink (; born 8 November 1946) is a Dutch former football manager and professional player. He enjoyed a long career playing as a midfielder in his native Netherlands. Remco Jelmer van der Schaaf (born 28 February 1979) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Van der Schaaf was born in Ten Boer, Groningen. After playing youth football for VV Omlandia and TOP Oss, he began his professional career in 1997 at Vitesse Arnhem, where he spent part of the 1999–2000 season on loan at Fortuna Sittard. Jordi Hoogstrate
Jordi Hoogstrate (born 2 June 1983) is a retired Dutch footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Hoogstrate started his career in 2001 with FC Groningen and was named a talented midfielder. He followed his former teammate Arjen Robben on a €3 million transfer to PSV Eindhoven summer 2003. At PSV Hoogstrate suffered with serious knee injuries. He only played five matches for PSV. Johann Louis François Vogel (born 8 March 1977) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent most of his professional with Grasshopper Club Zürich and PSV.
