Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Cruzeiro declared as the Campeonato Brasileiro champions. Relegation The two worst placed teams, which are Fortaleza and Bahia, were relegated to the following year's second level. Promotion The two best placed teams in the final stage of the competition, which are Palmeiras and Botafogo, were promoted to the following year's first level. Esporte Clube Flamengo, or usually called Flamengo do Piauí, are a Brazilian football team from Teresina in Piauí, Brazil founded on December 8, 1937. Their home stadium is the Albertão, which has a maximum capacity of 60,000 people. Their kit is black and red shirts, black shorts and red and black socks. Flamengo has competed in the Série A several times. Despite having the same name and colors, they should not be confused with the more well known and popular Flamengo from Rio de Janeiro. The Campeonato Amazonense, officially Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol Profissional, is the football championship for professional clubs of the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Campeonato Paranaense, which has been contested since 1915, is the top-flight football league of the state of Paraná, Brazil. Format The format has changed in 2014. 12 teams are together in a single group. They play against each other once, and the 8 best teams after the 11 games will play the knockout phase that teams will play against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis. The last 4 teams will play the Torneio da Morte, where they will play against each other two times (home-away), the best two teams will stay in the Série Ouro, the first division of the football of the state and the two worst will be relegated to the Série Prata, the second division.
