2003 CAF Super Cup
The 2003 CAF Super Cup was the 11th CAF Super Cup, an annual football match in Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's two CAF club competitions, the African Cup of Champions Clubs and the African Cup Winners' Cup. The match took place on 7 February 2003, on Cairo Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, between Zamalek, the 2002 CAF Champions League winner, and Wydad AC Wydad Athletic Club ( ar, نادي الوداد الرياضي, ) commonly referred to as Wydad AC and known as Wydad, or simply as WAC, is a Moroccan sports club based in Casablanca. CAF Super Cup
The CAF Super Cup (also known as African Super Cup or for sponsorship reasons TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup) is an annual African association football competition contested between the winners of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. The competition was first held in 1993 and is organized by the CAF. Egyptian clubs have the highest number of victories (12 titles), followed by Morocco with 5. Morocco have the largest number of winning teams, with four clubs from each having won the title. The competition has been won by 16 clubs, 6 of which have won it more than once. Al Ahly is the most successful club in the competition's history, having won the tournament a record 8 times. Gamal Hamza ( ar, جمال حمزة, born 5 December 1981) is an Egyptian former footballer. He played for Zamalek SC for most of his football career. Tarek El-Sayed
Tarek El Sayed ( ar, طارق السيد; born 9 October 1978) is a retired Egyptian football player who played for El Zamalek for most of his football career. He also played for Itesalat, and he played for Tersana in the Egyptian Second Division and retired after one season. El Sayed made several appearances for the Egypt national football team, including nine qualifying matches for various FIFA World Cups. Career Zamalek El Sayed played with El Zamalek for 13 seasons during which he dominated the left wing position. At the end of 2007-2008 season and after winning the Egyptian cup, El Zamalek did not include either Tarek or his teammate Besheer El-Tabei in the new season's team roster, and so both were free agents.
