2002 TV Guide NZ Television Awards
The 2002 TV Guide NZ Television Awards were staged on Saturday 29 June 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand. Honouring excellence in New Zealand television for the previous year, the awards were sponsored by New Zealand TV Guide magazine, the final year of its eight-year period as a naming-rights sponsor of the awards. As there had been no awards in 2001, the 2002 awards also covered the 2001 awards period. The awards ceremony was not broadcast on television. Greenstone TV
Greenstone TV (or simply Greenstone) is a New Zealand-based television production company who produce factual, entertainment, drama and documentary television programs. Productions have been made for TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2, Three and Prime in New Zealand, and the Seven Network in Australia. Greenstone was founded in 1994 by John Harris. In December 2013, Greenstone was purchased by Australian company CJZ (Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder) creating an independent international production group. Michael King (born 12 April 1962) is a New Zealand mental health advocate, television personality, and former comedian. He is known in New Zealand as the spokesperson who marketed New Zealand pork, presenting 30-second TV commercials on cooking pork known as ''Mike's Meals'' until he disengaged from the pork industry. King's television career began in 1997 with his debut in the New Zealand comedy show ''Pulp Comedy''. Before television, King worked as a stand-up comedian. Mark Selwyn Hadlow (born 1957) is an Australian-New Zealand actor and comedian.
