2002 National Games Of India
The 2002 National Games, also known as the ''32nd National Games of India'' and informally as Andhra Pradesh 2002 was the 32nd edition of the National Games of India, held from 13 December 2002 to 22 December 2002 in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. President, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam inaugurated the 32nd National Games at the Gachibowli Stadium. The mascot was Veera, Ongole bull. 2003 Afro-Asian Games
The 2003 Afro-Asian Games, officially known as the First Afro-Asian Games or I Afro-Asian Games and unofficially known as the Inaugural Afro-Asian Games, was a major international multi-sport sporting event, event held in Hyderabad, India, from 24 October (excluding Football at the 2003 Afro-Asian Games, football and Field hockey, hockey, which began on 22 October and 23 October respectively) to 1 November 2003. Services Sports Control Board
Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) is a sports board run by the Indian Armed Forces. It was formed in 1919 as the Army Sports Control Board and later renamed to Services Sports Control Board. The board is represented as Services in the National Games of India. It has been one of the leading medal winners in the National Games. Saina Nehwal (; born 17 March 1990) is an Indian professional badminton player. A former world no. 1, she has won 24 international titles, which includes ten Superseries titles. Pullela Gopichand (born 16 November 1973) is a former Indian badminton player. Currently, he is the Chief National Coach for the India national badminton team.
