Maryland Legislative District 46
Maryland's Legislative District 46 is one of 47 districts in Maryland for representation in the state legislature. It is located entirely in Baltimore City and encompasses all or part of at least six city council districts, including the First district, Second district, Tenth district, Eleventh district, Twelfth district and Thirteenth district. Andy Harris (politician)
Andrew Peter Harris (born January 25, 1957) is an American politician and physician who has been the U.S. representative for since 2011. The district includes the entire Eastern Shore, as well as several eastern exurbs of Baltimore. He is currently the only Republican member of Maryland's congressional delegation. Harris previously served in the Maryland Senate. Early life, education, and career Harris's father was Zoltán Harris, an anesthesiologist who was born in Miskolc, Hungary, in 1911 and emigrated to the United States in 1950; his mother, Irene (Koczerzuk), was born in Zarice, Poland. Harris was born in New York, grew up in Queens, and attended Regis High School in Manhattan. Harris earned his BS in biology (1977) and his MD (1980) from Johns Hopkins University. Clarence Maurice Mitchell IV (born May 16, 1962) is an American radio host and former politician who currently cohosts ''The C4 And Bryan Nehman Show'' on Baltimore radio station WBAL. Mitchell served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1995 to 1999 and Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2003 as a member of the Democratic Party.
