The 2001–02 season, covering the period from 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2002, was S.L. Benfica, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's List of S.L. Benfica seasons, 98th season in existence and the club's 68th consecutive season in Primeira Liga#All-time Primeira Liga table, the top flight of Portuguese football. Manuel Vilarinho
Manuel Lino Rodrigues Vilarinho (born 23 June 1948) is a Portuguese businessman who was the 32nd president of sports club S.L. Benfica. Benfica Born in Lisbon, Vilarinho was elected president of Benfica on 27 October 2000 with 62% of the votes, ousting the incumbent chairman João Vale e Azevedo in the second most contested election in the history of Benfica. Ljubinko Drulović
Ljubinko Drulović (; born 11 September 1968) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a winger, and is a current manager. He spent the most notable part of his playing career in Portugal, with stints at Porto and Benfica – a combined ten seasons between the two clubs, winning 14 major titles with the former. He also had brief spells at Partizan as player and manager. Drulović represented the Yugoslavian national team in one World Cup and one European Championship, earning 38 caps. Argélico Fuchs (born Argélico Fucks; 4 September 1974) is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player. His professional career as a central defender spanned 15 years, during which he was mainly associated with Benfica and Internacional. João Henrique Pataco Tomás (born 27 May 1975) is a Portuguese retired professional footballer who played as a forward. He represented mostly Braga (three seasons) and Rio Ave (four) during his 19-year senior career. José Calado
José António Calado da Silva (born 1 March 1974), known as Calado, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a central midfielder. After coming to prominence in his home country with Benfica, he spent the rest of his 19-year professional career with two teams in Spain and two in Cyprus. Serhiy Viktorovych Kandaurov ( ua, Сергі́й Ві́кторович Кандау́ров; born 2 February 1972) is a Ukrainian retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Luís Filipe Ferreira Vieira (born 22 June 1949) is a Portuguese real estate businessman who was the 33rd president of sports club S.L. Benfica, from October 2003 to July 2021. Futebol Clube De Alverca
Futebol Clube de Alverca is a Portuguese football club based in Alverca do Ribatejo, Vila Franca de Xira. It currently plays in the Portuguese 3rd Division. History F.C. Alverca was founded on 1 September 1939.
