Flanders Sports Arena
The Flanders Sports Arena ( nl, Topsporthal Vlaanderen) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Ghent, Belgium. Opened in 2000, the Flanders Sports Arena can hold up to 5,000 people in sporting events. It was realized through a public-private partnership between the Flemish Government, Bloso, the provincial Government of East Flanders, Flanders Expo and the city council of Ghent. The venue is managed by agency Sport Vlaanderen Ghent. Facilities The hall has 3,539 seats which, if required, can be expanded to more than 5,000 seats. This accommodation has a fixed athletics track with 6 lanes of 200 meters. The central area has an area of 2150 m² that can be increased to 3000 m². It is used for other athletic disciplines such as 60-meter sprint, high jump, long jump, hop jump, pole vault and shot put. In the winter the emphasis is mainly on athletics. Szilveszter Csollány
Szilveszter Csollány (; 13 April 1970 – 24 January 2022) was a Hungarian gymnast who won gold in the men's rings at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Life and career Csollány won gold in the men's rings at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney with a score of 9.85. This achievement earned him the title 2000 Hungarian Sportsman of the Year. He was again chosen as Sportsman of the Year in 2002 after winning a gold medal at that year's World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Csollány moved to Iceland in 2011 and became a gymnastics coach at Grótta. Death In November 2021, Csollány contracted an undisclosed variant of SARS-CoV-2. Marian Drăgulescu (born 18 December 1980 in Bucharest) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast. During his senior gymnastics career he won 31 medals at Olympic Games at World and European Championships, of which eight are gold medals at the World Championships and ten are gold medals at European Championships. Drăgulescu's strongest events were vault and floor, on which he was a multiple world champion and Olympic medalist. Yordan Yovchev Yovchev ( bg, Йордан Йовчев Йовчев; born February 24, 1973), also spelled Jordan Jovtchev, is a retired Bulgarian gymnast. He took part in six consecutive Olympic Games, more than any other Bulgarian athlete in Olympic history.
