The Chinese FA Super Cup (), formerly named Chinese Football Super Cup (), is a pre-season football competition held before the season begins in China. It is a Chinese football championship contested by the winners of top division of Professional League (former Chinese Jia-A League, now Chinese Super League) and the FA Cup last season. If both teams are the same, the opponent is the runners-up of league last season. It is the Chinese equivalent to the English FA Community Shield, in which the winners of the Premier League and FA Cup compete for the trophy. It was created in 1995 but was not held between 2004 and 2011. The most successful club is Guangzhou with four titles. Qu Shengqing (; Pinyin: ''Qū Shèngqīng'' born June 5, 1975) is a Chinese football coach and former international player. As a player he represented Liaoning FC where he won the Golden Boot in the 1999 league season before joining Shanghai Shenhua. He would also move abroad to A-League side Adelaide United before returning to China to end his career with lower sides Nanjing Yoyo and Shenyang Dongjin. Sun Xiang (; ; born 15 January 1982) is a Chinese former professional footballer who played as a left back. He played for Shanghai Shenhua, Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai SIPG in his native country and spent time on loan at Dutch club PSV Eindhoven and Austrian club Austria Wien.
