The 2000 Polish Speedway season was the 2000 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2000 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 15 August at Piła. Piotr Protasiewicz
Piotr Protasiewicz (born 25 January 1975 in Zielona Góra, Poland) is a Polish international speedway rider. Career He has ridden for the Polish national team in the Speedway World Cup in 1996 and 2005. He was also World U-21 Champion in 1996. In October 1997, during the Speedway Grand Prix Qualification he won the GP Challenge, which ensured that he claimed a permanent slot for the 1998 Grand Prix. He would repeat this feat three years later in October 2003. Awards For his sport achievements, he received the Silver Cross of Merit in 2000. Robert Sawina
Robert Sawina (born 27 May 1971) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Baron represented Poland during the 1992 Speedway World Team Cup. He also reached the 1992 Speedway Under-21 World Championship final. He won the silver medal at the Polish Individual Speedway Championship in 2001 and twice won the silver medal in the prestigious Golden Helmet during the 1999 Polish speedway season and 2001 Polish speedway season. After retiring he later became the team manager of KS Toruń.
