Jeff Woodruff
Jeff Woodruff (born February 22, 1957) is an American football coach, currently the head coach at Andress High School in El Paso, Texas. He was the head coach at Eastern Michigan University, the assistant head coach and tight ends coach at the University of Texas at El Paso, and the head coach of Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California. Coaching career A quarterback and punter at Kent State University, Woodruff began his coaching career at his alma mater as a graduate assistant and tight ends coach in 1979. He joined the University of Washington staff in Seattle as a graduate assistant under head coach Don James in 1980, then moved to the University of Nevada in 1983 for a season as the secondary coach and recruiting coordinator. Kalamazoo ( ) is a city in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Kalamazoo County. At the 2010 census, Kalamazoo had a population of 74,262. Waldo Stadium is a stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It is primarily used for football, and has been the home of Western Michigan University Broncos football in rudimentary form since 1914, and as a complete stadium since 1939. It currently has a capacity of 30,200 spectators. History The stadium was built at a cost of $250,000 ($4.3 million in 2016), and it opened in 1939 with a 6–0 win over Miami University. The cost for Waldo Stadium also included the construction of Hyames Field, the school's baseball stadium directly west of the football field. The stadium is named for Dwight B. The Central Michigan–Eastern Michigan football rivalry is an annual college football game between Central Michigan University (CMU) and Eastern Michigan University (EMU). The football series between the two universities dates back to 1902 and is the oldest rivalry in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), having begun five years before the Central Michigan–Western Michigan rivalry and six years before the Miami–Ohio rivalry. With 100 games having been played, it is also the most frequently-played series between MAC schools. Doyt L. Perry Stadium is a stadium on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, United States. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Bowling Green Falcons football team. It opened in 1966 and originally held 23,232 people. History On October 1, 1966, the stadium opened with a 13–0 win over Dayton. The stadium was named for Doyt Perry, a highly successful coach and athletic director at the school.
