Cardiff City F
Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. It forms a principal area, officially known as the City and County of Cardiff ( cy, Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, links=no), and the city is the eleventh-largest in the United Kingdom. Located in the south-east of Wales and in the Cardiff Capital Region, Cardiff is the county town of the historic county of Glamorgan and in 1974–1996 of South Glamorgan. Seamus Kelly (footballer)
Seamus Kelly (born 6 May 1974) is an Irish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His brother Pádraic played as a keeper for Offaly for many years. Seamus also played as a goalkeeper for Offaly minor team in 1992. Career Seamus signed for UCD in the summer of 1993, making his League of Ireland debut on 19 September, from hometown club Tullamore Town and established himself as one of the league's best keepers before joining Cardiff City in 1998 as cover for Jon Hallworth. Kelly began his Cardiff career on the bench but was called upon at the end of the 1998–99 season when Hallworth broke two ribs in a match against Leyton Orient. Nathan Daniel Cadette (born 6 January 1980) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a striker, midfielder and full back. He is currently manager of Bridgend Street. Matthew Ronald Brazier (2 July 1976 – 4 February 2019) was an English professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career with Queens Park Rangers F.C., Queens Park Rangers before joining fellow London based side Fulham F.C., Fulham in 1998. Jason Peter Bowen (born 24 August 1972) is a Welsh former international footballer. During his career, he made over 500 league appearances and was capped twice by Wales in a career which started at Swansea City. He made over 100 league appearances for the club and played in their 1994 Football League Trophy Final victory over Huddersfield Town. In 1995, he was sold to Birmingham City for £350,000. Mark Bonner (born 7 June 1974) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. During his career, he made over 300 appearances in the Football League. He began his professional career with Blackpool, making his first team debut at the age of just 17, and went on to make over 200 appearances for the side in all competitions. In 1998, he turned down a new contract at Bloomfield Road and instead joined Cardiff City, nicknamed the Bluebirds, where he spent six seasons. Christopher Anthony Allen (born 18 November 1972) is an English professional football coach and former player. A former England under-21 international midfielder, he started his career at Oxford United in 1991, playing 181 games in five years, helping to send the club on their way back to the First Division in 1995–96 before he signed with Nottingham Forest for a £400,000 fee. He played 26 Premier League games for Forest, though played little part in the club's 1997–98 First Division promotion campaign. Scott Young (Welsh Footballer)
Scott Young (born 14 January 1976) is a Welsh former professional footballer. Club career Young was born in Tonypandy. He made his first appearance for Cardiff City, under then manager Eddie May, on 6 November 1993 in a 3–1 victory over Stockport County at the age of sixteen. He became a popular figure during his 11 seasons at Cardiff City, especially after scoring the winning goal in the 2–1 win over Leeds United on 6 January 2002 in the third round of the FA Cup. A one-club man since graduating from the Ninian Park ranks, Young made 275 league appearances for the Bluebirds. Unfortunately his later years with Cardiff were blighted by a persistent back injury and he retired at the end of the 2003/04 season at the age of 28. Lee Phillips (born 18 March 1979, in Aberdare) is a Welsh-born former footballer who is currently manager of A.F.C. Llwydcoed Career Phillips began his career at Cardiff City, making his debut in a 3–2 win over Hartlepool United in February 1997 as a replacement for Scott Young. During the following years he found opportunities hard to come by at the club before moving on to League of Wales outfit Barry Town in 2000 where he made just under 100 appearances including some appearances in European competition.
