Uchu Tatsumi
Uchu Tatsumi (born January 23, 1972) is a retired Japanese people, Japanese mixed martial arts, mixed martial artist. He competed in the Bantamweight (MMA), Bantamweight and Featherweight (MMA), Featherweight division. Tatsumi fought in Shooto and is known for his series of fights against Alexandre Franca Nogueira, from whom he suffered his only defeat ending his five year undefeated streak. Mixed martial arts career Uchu Tatsumi trained for Shooto under Kazuhiro Kusayanagi at K'z Factory. Tatsumi debuted on May 12, 1995, winning a unanimous decision against Magnum Kawamura at 1995_in_Shooto#Shooto:_Vale_Tudo_Access_4, Shooto: Vale Tudo Access 4. Erik Paulson
Erik Paulson (born June 28, 1966) is an American mixed martial artist. He is the first American to win the World Light-Heavy Weight Shooto Title in Japan. Biography Erik started his career in martial arts starting with Judo at age of 8. However, he got disillusioned after failing to use it in self-defense, when a bully blocked his hip throw by pulling his hair and forced Erik to strike him in order to win. Convinced that striking arts were the best to defend himself, he took up Taekwondo, Boxing, Karate, Aikido, Wrestling, and Jujutsu. Many years after, he moved to California and became a student under Dan Inosanto, Gene Lebell, and Benny Urquidez, learning styles like Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Savate, Arnis/Kali/Eskrima, Kung Fu, Sambo, Muay Thai, Chin Na, Dumog, Panantukan, and Silat. Jin Akimoto
Jin Akimoto (born April 7, 1971; ) is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist. He competed in the Bantamweight and Flyweight divisions. He spent the entirety of his career, barring one fight, in Shooto. Between 2000 and 2004 he was ranked as one of the best bantamweights in the world. Personal life Jin Akimoto was born in Sagamihara, in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. He is the youngest of three siblings, with an older brother and sister. He graduated from Kanagawa Prefectural Yaei Higashi High School. He moved to Tokyo, where he graduated from Kyorin University. Ron Balicki
Ron Balicki (born September 2, 1963) is an American actor and stuntman for various films and television series. He is also a well known martial arts practitioner, teacher and author. He is a student and the son-in-law of Dan Inosanto. Biography Balicki grew up in Chicago, Illinois. In 1987 he became a Deputy Sheriff for Cook County, Illinois. He helped form a "Special Operations Resistance Team" which trained officers in riot control.
