Andrea Ferrigato
Andrea Ferrigato (born 1 September 1969 in Schio) is an Italian former road bicycle racer. Career In 1991 he turned professional with , which he rode for until 1993. In 1994 he won the 12th stage at the Giro d'Italia, while his best year was 1996, while riding for . That season he won the Leeds International Classic and the Grand Prix de Suisse and placed second to Johan Museeuw in the UCI Road World Cup. During some years he was in the Italian national team, and competed in two editions of the road world championship. He rode a season for the team , before leaving in March 2005, when he began to work for the company Selle Italia. Since 2011 he has been working for the tour operator Girolibero, specialized in cycling holidays, where he has been planning roadbike tours and creating the brochure Girolibero Roadbike. Bretagne Classic
The Bretagne Classic, also called Bretagne Classic Ouest–France, is an elite cycling classic held annually in late summer around the Breton village of Plouay in western France. The race was originally named Grand–Prix de Plouay and, from 1989 to 2015, GP Ouest–France. It was included in the inaugural UCI ProTour in 2005 and in 2011 in its successor, the UCI World Tour. Since 2016 it is called Bretagne Classic Ouest–France. Since 2002, a women's event, the GP Plouay–Bretagne is organized on Saturday, the day before the men's race. Supporting events have grown over the years and now include BMX races, track racing and a mass-participation ride, as part of a four–day festival in the last summer weekend in Brittany. Nicolas Jalabert (born 13 April 1973) is a French former road racing cyclist. In 1997 he turned professional with the French team Cofidis. He is the younger brother of Laurent Jalabert, and followed him to ONCE in 2000 and Team CSC in 2001. In 2004, after his brother's retirement, he followed Tyler Hamilton to Phonak. Claudio Chiappucci
Claudio Chiappucci (born 28 February 1963 in Uboldo, Varese, Lombardy) is a retired Italian professional cyclist. He was on the podium three times in the Tour de France general classification: second in 1990, third in 1991 and second again in 1992. Career After a quiet start to his career he burst onto the scene in the 1990 Tour de France. Chiappucci found himself almost casually wearing the yellow jersey after a stage one attack which the favourites allowed him to arrive with a 10-minute time advantage. In subsequent stages he resisted the return of Greg LeMond, only losing the lead of the race in stage 20, the final time trial. In the end, LeMond won the Tour by 2' 16", Chiappucci came home with a surprising second place and, moreover, the status of a cycling star. Cédric Vasseur (born 18 August 1970) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, and current general manager of UCI WorldTeam . As a rider, Vasseur competed between 1993 and 2007 for the Novemail–Histor, , , and squads. Vasseur was considered an all-rounder who could do well in a variety of races. He raced in all of the spring classics such as Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix, and won a stage of the Dauphiné Libéré stage race as well as two at the Tour de France. Plouay
Plouay (; ) is a commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany in north-western France. Plouay hosts the GP Ouest-France and the GP de Plouay, annual cycling races (a men's and women's race, respectively). It was also the location of the UCI Road World Championships in 2000. The Tour de France has visited this town three times: in 1998, 2002 and in 2006.
