Thomas Muster (born 2 October 1967) is an Austrian former world No. 1 tennis player. One of the world's leading clay court players in the 1990s, he won the 1995 French Open and at his peak was called "The King of Clay". In addition, he won eight Masters 1000 Series titles. Muster is one of the nine players to win Super 9/ATP Masters Series/ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles on clay, hardcourt and carpet. With his 1995 French Open title, Muster became the first Austrian to win a Grand Slam singles title, followed by Dominic Thiem at the 2020 US Open. Having turned professional in 1988, Furlan represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was defeated in the quarter finals by India's Leander Paes. Timothy Henry Henman (born 6 September 1974) is a British former professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. He was the first British man to reach the singles semifinals of Wimbledon since Roger Taylor in the 1970s. James Sekulov (born 13 October 1976) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Career Sekulov was a boys' doubles finalist at the 1993 US Open, partnering Ben Ellwood. He finished that year as the world's seventh-ranked junior singles player. The right-handed Australian made his senior Grand Slam debut in the 1998 US Open and lost in the opening round to Davide Sanguinetti. Hernán Gumy (born 5 March 1972) is a former tennis player from Argentina, who turned professional in 1991. He represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was defeated in the first round by Venezuela's Nicolas Pereira. Gumy made two finals in his career; both of them ATP 250s on clay in 1996. Christian Ruud (born 24 August 1972) is a Norwegian former tennis player who turned professional in 1991. Carles ("Carlos") Costa Masferrer (born 22 April 1968) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. Costa turned professional in 1988. He was among the game's leading clay court players in the early 1990s. Costa was runner-up at the 1992 Italian Open, and reached the fourth round at that year's French Open and US Open.
