Conchita Martínez
"Conchita" Martínez Bernat (born 16 April 1972) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. She was the first Spaniard to win the women's singles title at The Championships, Wimbledon, Wimbledon, doing so in 1994 Wimbledon Championships – Women's singles, 1994. Martínez also was the runner-up at the 1998 Australian Open – Women's singles, 1998 Australian Open and the 2000 French Open – Women's singles, 2000 French Open. She reached a career-high ranking of world No. 2 in October 1995, and was in the year-end Top 10 for nine years. Barbara Schett Eagle (; born 10 March 1976) is an Austrian former professional tennis player, who reached her highest singles ranking of world No. 7 in September 1999. Between 1993 and 2004 she played in 48 matches for the Austria Fed Cup team, winning 30. She also represented Austria at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in singles and doubles, reaching the quarterfinals of the singles event. She retired after the 2005 Australian Open and now works for Eurosport as a commentator and presenter. Bettina Fulco (born 23 October 1968) is a retired professional women's tennis player from Argentina. She reached her highest ranking of world No. 23 on 10 October 1988. Fulco began playing tennis at age ten, at the university club in her hometown of Mar del Plata, having been inspired to start because of the increased interest in the sport in Argentina due to Guillermo Vilas' success. As a junior, Bettina was among the best in the world, reaching the finals of the Orange Bowl 18-and-under championships in 1986, and finishing second in the junior rankings in 1986. Alexandra Fusai
Alexandra Fusai (born 22 November 1973) is a former professional tennis player from France. Fusai was born in Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine. Starting from September 1989 when she turned professional, Fusai played four tournaments (all of them part of the ITF Women's Circuit) on the international tennis circuit in 1989. She played right-handed and lived in Nantes during her career. She retired from the professional tennis circuit in April 2003 when she discovered that she was pregnant with her first child. Rene Simpson
Rene Simpson Collins (14 January 1966 – 17 October 2013) was a Canadian professional tennis player from Sarnia, Ontario. She reached a WTA singles ranking of 70 in 1989, and had a successful NCAA career for Texas Christian University. She was a member of the Canada Fed Cup team from 1988 to 1998, coach from 1998 to 2000, and captain from 2001 to 2010. She was inducted into the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011. Simpson died on 17 October 2013 after a year-long battle with brain cancer. She was 47. Virginia Ruano Pascual (; born 21 September 1973) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. She had moderate success in singles, winning three career Women's Tennis Association (WTA) titles as well as reaching two Grand Slam quarterfinals and a top-30 ranking, but she had been far more successful in doubles. She won 43 career WTA doubles titles, including eleven at Grand Slam tournaments: ten in women's doubles (eight partnering Paola Suárez, and two partnering Anabel Medina Garrigues) and one in mixed doubles (partnering Tomás Carbonell). Rita Grande (born 23 March 1975) is a former tennis player from Italy. During her career, Grande won three singles titles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She also won one singles title and three doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 5 November 2001, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 24. On 28 May 2001, she peaked at No. 26 in the doubles rankings.
