Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari
The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. During this period, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, with the Italian Grand Prix taking place at Monza, so the Imola race was named after the nearby state. Imola also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix in place of Monza. Luca Cadalora (born 17 May 1963) is an Italian former professional motorcycle racer who is the 125 cc World Champion, and 250 cc World Champion and 8-time Premier Class race winner. Sean Emmett (born 4 February 1970) is an English former professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Racing career Born in Walton on Thames, Sean Emmett began his career in 1989 at Brands Hatch. In 1989, he won the 350cc Production Championship. He also won the Avon Tyres Trophy for "the most talented young rider with the most promising future". Previous winners included John Surtees, Mike Hailwood and Barry Sheene. He competed in his first Grand Prix in 1993 riding for the Shell-Harris Yamaha team, finishing the season in 19th place in the F.I.M. 500cc class. Doriano Romboni (8 December 1968 in Lerici, Italy – 30 November 2013 in Latina, Italy) was an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Career Romboni raced in 125cc and 250cc World Championship races on Hondas. In 1996 he rode for the Aprilia factory in the 500cc class aboard a bike with a V-twin, 250cc engine that had been enlarged to 380cc. Aprilia tried to take advantage of the bike's lightweight and agility against their more powerful competition. Romboni managed to finish in 10th place in the 1997 season before Aprilia withdrew the project. He raced for the MuZ team in one race in the 1998 season. In 1999 he switched to the Superbike World Championship on a private Ducati. He was a frontrunner in the early races. Lucio Pedercini (born September 22, 1972) is an Italian former professional Grand Prix motorcycle racer and current motorcycle racing team owner. Career Born in Volta Mantovana, he began racing in the Grand Prix world championships in 1992. He had his best season in 1996 when he finished in 17th place in the 500cc world championship final standings. Pedercini was Italian Superbike Champion in 2001 and 2002, riding a Ducati. Alberto Puig (born 16 January 1967) is a Spanish former Grand Prix solo motorcycle professional road racer who is team manager for the Repsol Honda team in MotoGP. Motorcycle racing career Puig had his best year in 1994, when he finished in fifth place in the 500 cc class. In 1995, Puig became the first Spanish competitor to win his home nation's 500 cc Grand Prix when he won the 1995 Spanish Grand Prix. He then scored two more podium results to place himself in third place in the world championship, before he crashed heavily during practice for the 1995 French Grand Prix and broke his left leg, ending his season prematurely.
