1993 Primera División De Chile
The 1993 Campeonato Nacional, known as Campeonato Nacional Copa Banco del Estado de Chile, Banco del Estado 1993 for sponsorship purposes, was the 61st season of top-flight football in Chile. Colo-Colo won its 19th title following a 3–0 home win against Unión Española on 2 January 1994. Unión Española also qualified for the next 1994 Copa Libertadores, Copa Libertadores as Liguilla winners. Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the ''Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. Qualification for international competitions The champions of the Campeonato are immediately qualified to the Copa Libertadores for the next year, as well as the second and third place. The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh place are qualified to the Copa Sudamericana for the next year.
