The 1992–93 New York Islanders season was the 21st season in franchise history. This involved the Islanders participating in the Prince of Wales Conference finals. This would be the Islanders last playoff series win until 2016. HC Dynamo Moscow
HC Dynamo Moscow () is a Russian professional ice hockey club based in Moscow. It is a member of the Tarasov Division in the Kontinental Hockey League. The Tri-City Americans are a major junior ice hockey team of the Western Hockey League, based in Kennewick, Washington. The team plays its home games at Toyota Center (Kennewick), Toyota Center. Sudbury Wolves
The Sudbury Wolves are an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) ice hockey team based in Greater Sudbury, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Sudbury has had various hockey teams competing at the Junior ice hockey, junior and senior ice hockey levels of the game known as the "Wolves" (or "Cub Wolves") nearly every year since around the time of World War I. Derek Armstrong (ice Hockey)
Derek Armstrong (born April 23, 1973) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Armstrong played in the National Hockey League, where he played for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blues. Playing career Derek Armstrong spent the majority of his NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings. After being taken by the New York Islanders in the 6th round, 128th overall of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Armstrong finally played his first full NHL campaign in the 2002–03 season, after having spent eight years in the minor leagues. Most of his non-NHL stints were in the two "AAA" North American development leagues: American Hockey League and International Hockey League. Spokane Chiefs
The Spokane Chiefs are a major junior ice hockey team that plays in the Western Hockey League based out of Spokane, Washington. The team plays its home games at the Spokane Arena. Their uniforms are similar to those of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens. Spokane consistently ranks in the top 10 in the Canadian Hockey League in attendance. Ryan Duthie
Ryan Duthie (born September 2, 1974) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey centre who played in North American minor leagues and in Europe. Career Duthie played Junior hockey for Spokane Chiefs of the WHL. He played for the Chiefs for 3 seasons, totaling 270 points in 198 games. During his final season with the Chiefs, Duthie was named to the Western Conference All-Star team. During his time with the Chiefs, Duthie was twice selected in the NHL Entry Draft; first in 1992 by the New York Islanders 105th overall, and again in 1994 by the Calgary Flames 91st overall. Upon being drafted by the Flames, Duthie turned professional and reported to the clubs affiliate team, the Saint John Flames of the AHL. The following season, Duthie again played in the AHL, this time for the Adirondack Red Wings.
