1992–93 Argentine Primera División
The 1992–93 Argentine Primera División was a season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The league season had two champions, with Boca Juniors winning the Apertura (22nd league title for the club), while Vélez Sársfield won the Clausura championship (2nd league title). Lanús (as champion of 1991–92 Primera B Nacional) and San Martín de Tucumán (winner of "Torneo Dodecagonal" after beating Almirante Brown in a two-legged series) were the teams promoted from the Primera B Nacional (second division). The Primera División (; en, "First Division"), known officialy as Liga Profesional de Fútbol, or Torneo Binance for sponsorship reasons, is a professional football league in Argentina, organised by the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The Primera División is the country's premier football division and is the top division of the Argentine football league system. It operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Primera Nacional (Second Division), with the teams placed lowest at the end of the season being relegated. Primera Nacional
Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 37 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. Club Social y Deportivo Textil Mandiyú, commonly referred as Textil Mandiyú was an Argentine football club, based in Corrientes, in the Province of the same name. The squad currently plays in the regionalised third tier of Argentine football league system, the Torneo Federal A.
