1991–92 Cypriot Fourth Division
The 1991–92 Cypriot Fourth Division was the 7th season of the Cypriot fourth-level football league. The championship was split into three geographical groups, representing the Districts of Cyprus. The winners were: * Nicosia- Keryneia Group: OXEN Peristeronas * Larnaca- Famagusta Group: Livadiakos Livadion * Limassol-Paphos Group: AEZ Zakakiou The three winners were promoted to the 1992–93 Cypriot Third Division. Seven teams were relegated to regional leagues. Cypriot Fourth Division
The Cypriot Fourth Division ( el, Τέταρτη Κατηγορία) was the fourth tier association football, football league competition in Cyprus, ran by the Cyprus Football Association. Each year, the top finishing teams of the league were promoted to the Cypriot Third Division, and the lowest finishing teams were relegated to the amateur leagues. History The Cypriot Fourth Division started the 1985–86 football season as the fourth level of the Cypriot football. The decision was taken by CFA on 23 July 1985. The first eight seasons the championship was split into three or four geographical groups, representing the Districts of Cyprus. Nicosia District
Nicosia District (Greek: Eπαρχία Λευκωσίας) is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is the island country's capital city, Nicosia. The TRNC-controlled northern part of the district is the Lefkoşa District of the unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. 1991–92 Cypriot Cup
The 1991–92 Cypriot Cup was the 50th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 72 clubs entered the competition. It began on 9 November 1991 with the first preliminary round and concluded on 10 June 1992 with the final which was held at Tsirion Stadium. Apollon won their 4th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Omonia 1–0 in the final. Format In the 1991–92 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division, the Cypriot Third Division and 30 of the 42 teams of the Cypriot Fourth Division. The competition consisted of seven knock-out rounds. In the preliminary rounds each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. The 1991–92 Cypriot First Division was the 53rd season of the Cypriot top-level football league. APOEL won their 15th title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 1991–92 Cypriot First Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The last two teams were relegated to the 1992–93 Cypriot Second Division. The 12th-placed team faced the 3rd-placed team of the 1991–92 Cypriot Second Division, in a two-legged relegation play-off for one spot in the 1992–93 Cypriot First Division. Paphos District
Paphos District ( el, Επαρχία Πάφου, tr, Baf kazası) is one of the six districts of Cyprus and it is situated in the western part of Cyprus. Its main town and Capital (political), capital is Paphos. The entire district is controlled by the internationally recognized government of Cyprus. Limassol District
Limassol District () or Lemesos ( el, Λεμεσός) is one of the six districts of Cyprus. , it had a population of 239,842, 77% of which was urban. Its main city is Limassol. Part of the British Overseas Territory of Akrotiri and Dhekelia forms an enclave on the Akrotiri Peninsula, under the sovereignty of the United Kingdom. Famagusta District
Famagusta District ( gr, Επαρχία Αμμοχώστου, Eparchia Ammochostu; tr, Mağusa kazası) is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is the island's most important port, Famagusta. Larnaca District
Larnaca District ( el, Επαρχία Λάρνακας, tr, Larnaka kazası) is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its capital is Larnaca. It is bordered on the east by Famagusta District, on the north by Nicosia District and on the west by Limassol District. A small part of the district was occupied by the Turkish army in 1974, and most of the occupied part is now ''de facto'' administered as part of Northern Cyprus's Lefkoşa District, with the remaining area near Pergamos being ''de facto'' administered by the Gazimağusa District. Kyrenia District
Kyrenia District is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is Kyrenia ( el, Κερύνεια; tr, Girne). It is the smallest of Cyprus' districts, and is the only one controlled in its entirety by the unrecognised de facto state of Northern Cyprus, where the same territory is administered as the ''de facto'' Girne District, a distinct entity. It is bordered on the south by Nicosia District and on the east and south-east by Famagusta District. It includes much of the north coast, with the towns of Kyrenia, Lapethos and Karavas.
