1990–91 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League Season
The 1990–91 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League season was the 49th and final season of the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League, the top level of ice hockey in Yugoslavia. 10 teams participated in the league, and Medveščak have won the championship. For the 1991–92 season, Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia set up their own national leagues. Socialist Federal Republic Of Yugoslavia
The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. It emerged in 1945, following World War II, and lasted until 1992, with the breakup of Yugoslavia occurring as a consequence of the Yugoslav Wars. The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; russian: Континентальная хоккейная лига (КХЛ), Kontinental'naya khokkeynaya liga) is an international professional ice hockey Sports league, league founded in 2008. HDD Olimpija Ljubljana
Hokejsko drsalno društvo Olimpija Ljubljana, commonly referred to as HDD Olimpija or simply Olimpija, was a Slovenian professional ice hockey club from Ljubljana. They played their home games at the Tivoli Hall. Olimpija has won 13 Yugoslav championships and 15 Slovenian championships. They won ten consecutive titles between 1995 and 2004. KHK Red Star
Sportski klub za hokej na ledu Crvena zvezda is an ice hockey club from Belgrade, Serbia, currently playing in the International Hockey League and the Serbian Hockey League. The club is a part of the SD Crvena Zvezda sports association. SKHL Crvena zvezda was established in 1946 and played in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League until 1991. Hokejaški klub Spartak ( sr-Cyrl, Хокејашки клуб Спартак; en, Spartak Hockey Club) is an ice hockey club from Subotica, Serbia, currently playing in the Serbian Hockey League. It has a few tiers - juniors and adults. The club is a part of the SD Spartak Subotica sports association. History Hockey in Subotica was played before World War II.
