1990 Copa Del Rey De Baloncesto
The 1990 Copa del Rey was the 54th edition of the Spanish basketball Cup. It was organized by the ACB and its Final Eight was played in Las Palmas, in the Centro Insular de Deportes between 10 and 13 February 1990. This edition was played by the 24 teams of the 1989–90 ACB season. The eight first qualified teams of the previous season qualified directly to the Round of 16. History Originally known as the ''Copa de España de Baloncesto'', was first played in 1933 and contested in its first editions only by teams from the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona. Mark Davis (1980s NBA Player)
Mark Giles Davis (born June 8, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player. He is a 6'6" (1.98 m) and 195 lb (88 kg). He was a small forward and he attended Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he was born. He played collegiately at Old Dominion University. Davis was selected with the 9th pick of the fourth round of the 1985 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his only NBA season ( 1988–89) in which he spent time with the Milwaukee Bucks (31 games) and Phoenix Suns (2 games), he averaged 3.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. He won the Spanish Cup in 1990, playing for CB Zaragoza. He also played in 1991 European Cup Winner's Cup final. Club Bàsquet Sant Josep was a professional basketball team based in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. History The club was founded in 1962 by Ramon Sitjà as CB Sant Josep. In 1989 it became the Anonymous Sport Association (SAD). In 1987, when the ACB was enlarged to 24 teams, CB Girona entered the first division.
