1989 Danish 1st Division
The 1989 Danish 1st Division season was the 44th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The Danish champions qualified for the European Cup 1990-91 qualification, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the qualification round of the UEFA Cup 1990-91. The two lowest placed teams of the tournament was directly relegated to the Danish 2nd Division. Likewise, the Danish 2nd Division champions and runners-up were promoted to the 1st Division. Næstved IF
Næstved () is a town in the municipality of the same name, located in the southern part of the island of Zealand in Denmark. Næstved has several adult education centers, five elementary schools - and has at least one of each type of the four upper-second-level education centers. Lars Jacobsen
Lars Christian Jacobsen (born 20 September 1979) is a retired Danish professional footballer who played as a right back and current assistant coach of HB Køge. Club career Odense Boldklub Born and raised in Odense, Funen, Jacobsen started his career with local top-flight team Odense Boldklub. Prior to joining Odense Boldklub, he attended Sanderum School and once played as a striker before switching position to a defender. His talent was quickly discovered, as he played 58 matches for various youth national teams, and won the 1997 '' Danish under-19 Player of the Year'' award. He made his senior debut for OB in the 1996–97 Danish Superliga season. Jacobsen got his big break-through the following season, when he played 15 first team matches, even though the club was relegated to the 1st Division. Flemming Christensen
Flemming Christensen (born 10 April 1958) is a Danish former football (soccer) player and manager. Career In his active career, Christensen played for Danish clubs AB and Lyngby BK, as well as French club AS Saint-Etienne and FC Aarau from Switzerland. He debuted for the Danish national team in 1982, and he played a total of 11 national team matches and scored 2 goals. He was selected to represent Denmark at the 1986 World Cup, but did not play any matches. Miklos Jon Molnar ( hu, Molnár Miklós János; born 10 April 1970), nicknamed "Danish Dynamite", is a Danish former professional footballer of Hungarian origin who played as a striker for a number of Danish and foreign clubs. He was the top goalscorer of the 1989 and 1997 Danish championships, and won the 2000 MLS Cup with American team Kansas City Wizards. He scored two goals in 18 caps for the Denmark national football team, and represented his country at the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship tournaments. He was also a member of the Denmark team competing at the 1992 Summer Olympics. When he stopped his professional football career in 2000, he continued with triathlon. Brønshøj BK
Brønshøj, part of the municipality of Copenhagen, forms, together with Husum, the administrative city district (''bydel'') of Brønshøj-Husum, in Denmark. History The first mention of the village Brønshøj (Brunshoga), is in a letter dated October 21, 1186 from Pope Urban III to Archbishop Absalon. Brønshøj Church dates from approximately the same time. In 1658-1660, during The Northern Wars, the village and its immediate surroundings were transformed into a military fortress and town, named Carlstad by the Swedish Army under the command of King Karl X Gustav. This town supported the Swedish siege of Copenhagen. The population reached c. 30,000, which was the same as that of Copenhagen itself. The siege ended on the death of Karl X Gustav, 13 February 1660. Evidence of the fortifications cannot be found in the landscape today, though many artifacts have been uncovered. Herfølge BK
Herfølge is a suburb of the town of Køge, Denmark, located about 5 kilometers south of Køge, and is a part of Køge Municipality. The suburb is connected to Køge and Næstved by the Lille Syd railway line. AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg. The club is represented in the Danish Superliga and has won four Danish football Championships and three Danish Cup trophies. Most recently the team won the double in 2014.
