1984 Danish 1st Division
The 1984 Danish 1st Division season was the 39th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It constituted the 71st edition of the Danish football championship, and saw Vejle Boldklub win their fifth championship title. The Danish champions qualified for the European Cup 1985-86 qualification, whilst the second placed team qualified for the qualification round of the UEFA Cup 1985-86. The three lowest placed teams of the tournament was directly relegated to the Danish 2nd Division for the following season. Likewise, the Danish 2nd Division champions and two first runners-up were promoted to the 1st Division. Herfølge BK
Herfølge is a suburb of the town of Køge, Denmark, located about 5 kilometers south of Køge, and is a part of Køge Municipality. The suburb is connected to Køge and Næstved by the Lille Syd railway line. Steen Thychosen (born 22 September 1958) is a former Danish footballer, who played 252 games and scored 101 goals for Vejle Boldklub. He was a forward, who also represented German club Borussia Mönchengladbach, Belgian club RWD Molenbeek and Lausanne in Switzerland. He played two games for the Denmark national football team. Vejle Boldklub is a Danish professional football club based in Vejle in Jutland. Formed in 1891, the club is one of the most successful clubs in Danish football history, having won the Danish championship five times and the Danish cup title six times. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. Boldklubben 1909, known as B1909, is a Danish association football club currently playing in the Denmark Series. They play at Gillested Park in Odense on Funen, which has a capacity of 6,000. Founded in 1909, the club spent a total 38 seasons in the Danish championship from 1912 to 1993, and won the 1959 and 1964 Danish 1st Division championships, as well as the 1962 and 1971 Danish Cup trophies. In the 2006–07 season, the first team of B1909 merged with B 1913 and Dalum IF, to form FC Fyn. B 1909's new first team continued in the Danish league system, but had to stay two leagues below FC Fyn. Kjøbenhavns Boldklub
Kjøbenhavns Boldklub or KB is a Danish sports club based in Copenhagen. The club was founded 26 April 1876 on the grassy fields in outer Copenhagen which later became Fælledparken. Tennis has been played since 1883. The club hosted, in 1921, one of the early tennis majors: the World Covered Court Championships, won by William Laurentz that year. Today, along with the sports already mentioned, the club also has facilities for badminton, swimming and pétanque. Football and cricket has been played in KB since 1879, meaning that KB's football team was the very first club on continental Europe and it went on to become the most successful club in Denmark, winning a record 15 Danish championship titles from 1913 to 1980.
