In the 1983–84 season, the Tercera División – the fourth tier of professional football in Spain – was organised in fourteen regional groups. The best performing teams in each group went into a two-round promotion playoff, from which six teams were promoted to the Segunda División B. Real Sociedad Gimnástica de Torrelavega is a Spanish football team based in Torrelavega, in the autonomous community of Cantabria. Founded on 28 September 1907 it is the oldest football club in the region, and currently plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 3, holding home matches at ''Campos del Malecón'', with a capacity of 6,007 seats. History Gimnasticá de Torrelavega was founded in 1907. This makes the club one of the oldest football teams in Spain, as well as the oldest professional team from Cantabria. The team played mostly friendly matches before 1925, as there were not any organized football leagues in Spain prior to that. Real Oviedo Vetusta is a Spanish football club based in Oviedo, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1929 as ''Unión Sportiva Ovetense'', it is the reserve team of Real Oviedo, and currently plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 1, holding home games at ''El Requexón'', with a 3,000-seat capacity. Unión Popular de Langreo is a Spanish football team based in Langreo, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Club Siero is a Spanish football team based in Pola de Siero, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1916, it plays in Tercera División – Group 2, holding home matches at ''Estadio El Bayu'', with a capacity of 5,000 seats. History Despite being football present in Siero since 1909, Club Siero was not founded until 16 March 1916 with the name of ''Siero Foot-Ball Club''.
