Museum Für Moderne Kunst
The Museum für Moderne Kunst (''Museum of Modern Art''), or short MMK, in Frankfurt, was founded in 1981 and opened to the public 6 June 1991. The museum was designed by the Viennese architect Hans Hollein. Because of its triangular shape, it is popularly called "piece of cake", Claes Oldenburg artistically has expressed in a work. History The newest of Frankfurt's museums was founded in 1981. The idea to set up a museum for modern art in Frankfurt came from Peter Iden, an influential theatre and art critic at the Frankfurter Rundschau and founding director of the museum (1978–1987). With the Mayor Walter Wallmann (CDU) and the Head of the Cultural department Hilmar Hoffmann (SPD) Iden found political advocates for his project. In 1989, the Swiss art historian and curator Jean-Christophe Ammann moved from the Kunsthalle Basel to Frankfurt am Main and opened the new Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) Frankfurt am Main there on 6 June 1991. Ben (born Bernhard Albrecht Matthias Lasse Blümel on 15 May 1981 in Berlin) is a German singer, songwriter, and occasional voice actor and TV host. His greatest success was 2002 with the hit single "Engel", a collaboration with singer Gim. Sandy Mölling
Sandy Mölling (born 27 April 1981) is a German singer and television personality. She rose to fame as one of the members of the girl group No Angels, which were formed in 2000 on the German television talent show ''Popstars'', becoming one of the best-selling girl groups of European origin of all time. During their hiatus, Mölling released a solo album, '' Unexpected'' (2004), which produced the top ten singles " Unnatural Blonde" and " Tell Me", and became a judge on the fourth season of ''Popstars''. Teresa Weißbach (born 26 April 1981 in Zwickau, Bezirk Karl-Marx-Stadt, East Germany) is a German actress best known for her role as Miriam in the 1999 film ''Sonnenallee''. Biography She grew up in Stollberg, and at 10 years old joined the Youth Theater. At 17 she made her debut as Miriam Sommer in the film ''Sonnenallee''. Her parents own a bakery in Stollberg, and made special pastry in celebration of the success of Sonnenallee in cinemas. From 1999 to 2003 she studied at the University for Music and Theater in Rostock and was awarded a degree in acting. During her studies, she performed at the Volkstheater in Rostock, and at the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin, playing, among other roles, Ismene in the tragedy Antigone by Sophocles. In 2002 she performed in the ARD television series ''Berlin, Berlin''. Timo Boll (, ; born 8 March 1981) is a German professional table tennis player, who currently plays for Borussia Düsseldorf. He is ranked second in the German Table Tennis National League, and fifteen in the ITTF world rankings as of October 2022. Daniel "Dany" James Heatley (born January 21, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger. Originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers second overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the National Hockey League (NHL) rookie of the year in 2002. However, Heatley's time with the Thrashers was derailed when he was at the wheel in a car crash in September 2003 that killed his teammate Dan Snyder. Bohrium
Bohrium is a synthetic chemical element with the symbol Bh and atomic number 107. It is named after Danish physicist Niels Bohr. As a synthetic element, it can be created in a laboratory but is not found in nature. All known isotopes of bohrium are highly radioactive; the most stable known isotope is 270Bh with a half-life of approximately 2.4 minutes, though the unconfirmed 278Bh may have a longer half-life of about 11.5 minutes. In the periodic table, it is a d-block transactinide element. It is a member of the 7th period and belongs to the group 7 elements as the fifth member of the 6d series of transition metals. Chemistry experiments have confirmed that bohrium behaves as the heavier homologue to rhenium in group 7.
