William Donald Schaefer (1975)
William Donald Schaefer (November 2, 1921 – April 18, 2011) was an American politician who served in public office for 50 years at both the state and local level in Maryland. As a Democrat, he was the 45th mayor of Baltimore from December 1971 to January 1987, the 58th Governor of Maryland from January 21, 1987, to January 18, 1995, and the 32nd Comptroller of Maryland from January 20, 1999, to January 17, 2007. On September 12, 2006, he was defeated in his reelection bid for a third term as Comptroller by Maryland Delegate Peter Franchot in the Democratic Party primary. Early life and career Schaefer was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the only child of Tululu Irene (née Skipper) and William Henry Schaefer, on November 2, 1921. His parents were Baptist, and he was of part German ancestry. Patrick L. McDonough is an American politician. He was previously a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates and a candidate for County Executive of Baltimore County, Maryland, in the 2018 and 2022 elections. He represented District 7, which covers Baltimore and Harford Counties, along with fellow Republicans J.B. Jennings and Richard K Impallaria. He also served in the House from 1979 to 1983 as a Democrat. Education McDonough attended Baltimore parochial schools. He then attended Baltimore City College. Clarence "Tiger" Davis
Clarence "Tiger" Davis (born September 25, 1942) is an American politician who represented Maryland's 45th legislative district located in northeast Baltimore City in the Maryland House of Delegates. Background Davis was born in Georgia, USA, and graduated from the Paul Laurence Dunbar School in Baltimore, Maryland. He then enlisted in U.S. Air Force and served from 1960 to 1964, after which he was accepted at Morgan State College, where he earned a B.A. degree 4 years later. In 1978, he earned a master's degree, also from Morgan. Although he never tried out for any athletic teams while he was at Morgan, members of the Morgan State Bears lacrosse team considered him an honorary member because of his tremendous support for them. Davis is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, and is a regional co-ordinator for the National Association for Black Veterans.
