Automotodrom Grobnik
Automotodrom Grobnik is a motorsport race track located in Čavle, north of Rijeka, Croatia. The circuit was built in 15 months and was opened in 14 September 1978. From 1978 to 1990, it hosted the Yugoslavian motorcycle Grand Prix of MotoGP. Currently, among other competitions, the automotodrom hosts the Croatia Prix, which is a valid race for the FIA CEZ Formula 3 Championship. In 2020, Rijeka also hosted NASCAR Whelen Euro Series rounds as a late replacement for Autodrom Most, whose round was cancelled late in the season due to COVID-19 restrictions. Kreidler
Kreidler was a German manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles. Kreidler was originally based in Kornwestheim, between Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. It was founded in 1903 as "Kreidlers Metall- und Drahtwerke" (Kreidlers metal and wire factory) by Anton Kreidler and started to build motorcycles in 1951. In 1959 one third of all German motorcycles were Kreidler. In the 1970s Kreidler had very great success in motorsport. Especially in the Netherlands the riders Jan de Vries and Henk van Kessel were successful. Kreidler went out of business in 1982 and the rights to the trade mark were sold to the businessman Rudolf Scheidt who had Italian manufacturer Garelli Motorcycles make mopeds under the Kreidler name until 1988. The rights to the Kreidler brand were subsequently acquired by bicycle manufacturer Prophete. Vanes Martirosyan ( hy, Վանես Մարտիրոսյան; born May 1, 1986) is a former Armenian-born American professional boxer from 2005 to 2019. He has challenged twice for a light middleweight world title in 2013 and 2016, and once for a unified middleweight world title in 2018. Early life Vanes was born on May 1, 1986, in Abovyan, Armenia. Vanes' father, Norik Martirosyan, was an amateur boxer in Armenia who worked for an industrial company and was also in the army. Vanes has two brothers, one older and one younger, and a sister. His family moved to Glendale, California when he was four years old. He started boxing when he was seven after his father found out there was a gym in Glendale. Olivier Pierre Albin Chevallier (6 February 1949 - 6 April 1980) was a French professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Born in Vendôme, Loir-et-Cher, Chevallier's best year was in 1977 when he finished in sixth place in the 350cc world championship. His only Grand Prix victory came at the 1976 350cc Yugoslavian Grand Prix at Opatija. He was killed while competing at the Grand Prix of Le Castellet in 1980. Jonathan "Jon" Ekerold (born 8 October 1946) is a South African former professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ekerold is one of the few racers in the modern era to have won a world championship as a privateer without the benefit of a motorcycle manufacturer's support when he defeated Kawasaki factory racing team rider Anton Mang for the 1980 350cc Grand Prix road racing world championship. Ekerold rode a self-modified Yamaha TZ350 engine in a Bimota chassis during his championship season. He also won the Ulster Grand Prix once and finished second at the Isle of Man TT twice.
