1975–76 Cypriot Cup
The 1975–76 Cypriot Cup was the 34th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 35 clubs entered the competition. It began on 8 May 1976 with the preliminary round and concluded on 27 June 1976 with the final which was held at Tsirio Stadium. APOEL won their 9th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Alki Larnaca 6–0 in the final. Format In the 1975–76 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division and the Cypriot Third Division. The competition consisted of six knock-out rounds. In all rounds each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Each tie winner was qualifying to the next round. If a match was drawn, extra time was following. If extra time was drawn, there was a replay at the ground of the team who were away for the first game. Cypriot Cup
The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. It is the second most important competition for Cypriot club teams after Cypriot Championship. Only the Cypriot First Division and the second division teams are participating in the competition. The sponsor of the competition since 1962 is Coca-Cola and thus officially known as Cyprus Coca-Cola Cup. Evagoras Paphos
Athlitikos Syllogos Evagoras Paphos () was a Cypriot football club based in the city of Paphos. Founded in 1961, was playing sometimes in First and sometimes in the Second Division. It has adopted its name from Evagoras Pallikarides, who was a hero from Paphos who was hanged by British Colonists, as he was an EOKA guerrilla, fighting for the freedom of Cyprus. The club's badge was a green shield with the figure of Evagoras Pallikarides's as a face in a circle. Aris Limassol (Greek: ''Άρης Λεμεσού'') is a Cypriot football club based in Limassol and one of the founder members of Cyprus Football Association. Doxa Katokopias FC ( el, Δόξα Κατωκοπιάς) is a Cypriot football team from Katokopia in the Nicosia District. Ethnikos Achna FC
Ethnikos Achna Football Club ( el, Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Εθνικός Άχνας), commonly known as Ethnikos Achna, or simply Ethnikos, is a Cypriot football club based in the village of Achna. Founded in 1968, the club currently plays in the Cypriot Second Division. Ethnikos' home ground is the Dasaki Stadium, which has a capacity of 7000 seats. They are the only Cypriot team to win a UEFA competition. History The club played in the Cypriot Second Division until 1983 when it was promoted to the Cypriot First Division but was immediately relegated. The 1976–77 Cypriot Third Division was the sixth season of the Cypriot third-level football league. Akritas Chlorakas won their 1st title. Format Twelve teams participated in the 1976–77 Cypriot Third Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The first team was promoted to 1977–78 Cypriot Second Division. The last team was relegated to regional leagues.
