1970–71 County Championship
The 1970–71 County Championship was the 29th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association promoted to Divizia C without promotion play-off. The promotion play-off was not held this season, due to the expansion of Divizia C from next season, from eight series with 16 teams to twelve series of 14 teams. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. The number of teams differ from one county association to another. The Mureș County association has the fewest teams, 8, which play in a Scottish system, playing 4 times against one another. CS Crișul Chișineu-Criș
Clubul Sportiv Crișul Chișineu-Criș, commonly known as Crișul Chișineu-Criș, or simply Crișul Chișineu, is a Romanian professional football club based in Chișineu-Criș, Arad County. The team was founded in 1954 as ''Strungul Chișineu-Criș'' and played in the Divizia C for 6 years, between 1985 and 1991. The most important result was a 5th place, achieved at the end of the 1987–88 season. After 1991 Strungul played only in the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and subsequently changed its name in Crișul Chișineu-Criș. In 2013 Crișul started a collaboration with Europa Alba Iulia and played the second half of the 2012–13 season in the third tier. The alliance did not last and in the summer of 2013 Crișul enrolled again in the Liga IV where from they promoted to Liga III at the end of the 2017–18 season. Asociația Club Sportiv Progresul Pecica, commonly known as ACS Progresul Pecica, Progresul Pecica, or simply as Pecica is a Romanian professional football club based in Pecica, Arad County. Progresul Pecica was founded in 1949, under the name of ''Steaua Roșie Pecica'', as a result of the merger between ''Virtutea Pecica (est. in 1921)'' and ''Club Atletic Rovine (est. in 1924)''. Steaua Roșie was renamed in 1954 as ''Recolta Pecica'' and since 1965 was known as Progresul Pecica playing only at the level of the County or Districtual League (4th tier). Libertatea is a Romanian daily newspaper and online news website covering current affairs, entertainment, sports and lifestyle. It was founded on December 22, 1989 (12:45 p.m.), by Octavian Andronic, as "the first independent newspaper of the Romanian Revolution of 1989". History and profile The paper was started in 1989. Club Sportiv ACB Ineu, commonly known as ACB Ineu, or simply as Ineu, is a Romanian football club from Ineu, Arad County, Romania and currently playing in Liga IV – Arad County. Originally founded in 1920 as Victoria Ineu, the club was better known as ''Tricotaje Ineu'' when it played in 2003–04 Divizia B and 2004–05 Divizia B, finishing in both seasons on 9th positions.
