Slovenian Republic League
The Slovenian Republic Football League ( sl, Slovenska republiška nogometna liga) was the highest football league in Slovenia within the Yugoslav football system. During the time of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia it was known as the Ljubljana Subassociation League ( sl, Prvenstvo Ljubljanske nogometne podzveze) and was one of the qualifying tournaments for the Yugoslav Championship. During the time of Yugoslavia, it was a third level league for most of the time, but became a fourth level in 1988. Before that, the winner was promoted to the Yugoslav Second League, and after that it was promoted to the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League. NK Slavija Vevče
Nogometni klub Slavija Vevče ( en, Slavija Vevče Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Slavija Vevče or simply Slavija, was a Slovenian football club based in Vevče. The club was formed in 1921 and played in the Slovenian PrvaLiga in the 1994–95 season, after they replaced Svoboda before the start of the competition. They were sponsored by local printing company SET for most of the time, therefore their first team often played under the name SET Vevče rather than Slavija. In 1996, they merged with Slovan and moved to Kodeljevo to play there as ND Slovan-Slavija for three seasons. They have won the Slovenian Second League in 1996–97, but were then relegated from the first and second divisions in two seasons. After 1999, Slavija was eventually left out of the club's name, playing from then onwards only as Slovan. Named after the Drava river which flows through the town, Drava Ptuj has spent a total of seven season in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top division of the football in Slovenia, Slovenian football pyramid. The club was dissolved following the 2010–11 Slovenian Second League when they were unable to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia. NK Celje
Nogometni klub Celje ( en, Celje Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Celje or simply Celje (), is an association football club from Celje, Slovenia. They play in the Slovenian PrvaLiga. Together with Maribor, they are the only club that have participated in every season of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its formation in 1991. Celje won their first league title in the 2019–20 season. Nogometno društvo Ilirija 1911 is a Slovenian football club from Ljubljana which competes in the Slovenian Second League. The club was founded in June 1911 and is the oldest still active football club in the country. Football club Ilirija was founded on 9 June 1911 in a pub called Roža on Židovska cesta in Ljubljana.
