1962–63 Yugoslav Cup
The 1962–63 Yugoslav Cup was the 16th season of the top football knockout competition in SFR Yugoslavia, the Yugoslav Cup ( hbs, Kup Jugoslavije), also known as the "Marshal Tito Cup" (''Kup Maršala Tita''), since its establishment in 1946. Calendar The Yugoslav Cup was a tournament for which clubs from all tiers of the football pyramid were eligible to enter. In addition, amateur teams put together by individual Yugoslav People's Army garrisons and various factories and industrial plants were also encouraged to enter, which meant that each cup edition could have several thousands of teams in its preliminary stages. In the 1962–63 season 2,383 teams were entered, who played through a series of qualifying rounds in an attempt to reach the first round proper, in which they would be paired with top-flight teams. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. It emerged in 1945, following World War II, and lasted until 1992, with the breakup of Yugoslavia occurring as a consequence of the Yugoslav Wars. Fudbalski klub Proleter Zrenjanin () is a football club from the city of Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Serbia. FK Pobeda ( mk, ФК Победа) is a football club based in the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1941 as Goce Delčev and renamed in 1950 to FK Pobeda. NK Trešnjevka
Nogometni klub Trešnjevka is a professional association football club from the city of Zagreb that is situated in Croatia. Formed in 1926 under the name Panonija, since 1929 the clubs has been known as Trešnjevka. It was promoted to the Yugoslav First League in 1963 and played a European competition that same season. RFK Novi Sad 1921 (Serbian Cyrillic: РФК Нови Сад 1921) is a professional football club from Novi Sad, Serbia. The club is currently playing in the Serbian First League. History The club was founded in 1921 with the name NTK (Novosadski Trgovački Klub, Novi Sad Traders Club), and played in the regional leagues. In 1923, they won the local Novi Sad Football Subassociation league.
