1962 Scottish League Cup Final
The 1962 Scottish League Cup Final was played on 27 October 1962 at Hampden Park in Glasgow and it was the final of the 17th Scottish League Cup competition. The final was contested by Kilmarnock F.C., Kilmarnock and Heart of Midlothian F.C., Heart of Midlothian. Andy Kerr (footballer, Born 1931)
Andrew Kerr (29 June 1931 – 24 December 1997) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Partick Thistle, Manchester City, Kilmarnock, Sunderland, Aberdeen, Inverness club Caledonian in the Highland Football League and also Glentoran in the Northern Ireland Football League. Kerr started his career with Lugar Boswell Thistle in the Scottish Juniors having been born in the village of Lugar. Kerr also won two caps for Scotland, both of them in 1955. He was initially a defender and achieved his international recognition in that position, but achieved greater success at club level after being converted to a centre forward.Blast From The Past – Celtic

Johnny Hamilton (22 January 1935 – 8 August 2013) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Hearts, Watford and Berwick Rangers Berwick Rangers Football Club is a football team based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, England, just south of the border with Scotland. Hamilton played for the Scottish League XI once, in 1958. After retiring as a football player, Hamilton coached the Hearts youth team between 1974 and 1979. Willie Hamilton (footballer, Born 1938)
William Murdoch Hamilton (16 February 1938 – 22 October 1976) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian and Aston Villa, and gained one cap for Scotland. He became known for his off field lifestyle which overshadowed his playing ability. His one-time manager Jock Stein later described him as comparable to Kenny Dalglish in footballing talent. Career Following spells in English football with Sheffield United and Middlesbrough, Hamilton joined Hearts in June 1962 and was then signed for Hibernian by Jock Stein. Despite having handed in a transfer request shortly before Stein's arrival, Stein was able to get some astonishing performances out of Hamilton during his time at Easter Road. Stein would sometimes put up Hamilton in his own house on the eve of a big match to make sure he did not go out drinking. William Semple Brown Wallace (born 23 June 1940) is a Scottish former football player and coach. He won the European Cup with Celtic in 1967 along with several domestic honours. His other clubs included Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers, Heart of Midlothian and Dumbarton in the Scottish leagues, and Crystal Palace in English football.
