1952–53 Greek Football Cup
The 1952–53 Greek Football Cup was the 11th edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, held at Leoforos Alexandras Stadium, on 17 May 1953. The match was contested by Olympiacos and AEK Athens, with Olympiacos winning by 3–2. Calendar ''From Round of 16 onwards:'' Knockout phase In the knockout phase, teams play against each other over a single match. If the match ends up as a draw, extra time will be played and if the match remains a draw a replay match is set at the home of the guest team which the extra time rule stands as well. If a winner doesn't occur after the replay match the winner emerges by a flip of a coin. Fostiras Football Club ( el, Α.Π.Ο. Φωστήρας Ταύρου) is a Greek football club based in Tavros, a suburb of Athens, Greece. The Piraeus Football Clubs Association ( el, Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Πειραιώς, abbreviated E.P.S.P. (Ε.Π.Σ.Π.) was founded in 1925 after the termination of E.P.S. Athens-Piraeus. It was the second largest football association in Greece and was officially recognized by FIFA alongside E.P.S. Athens, as the Hellenic Football Federation had not been established at the time. Ampelokipoi, Athens
Ampelokipoi or Ampelokipi (, ), meaning 'vineyards', is a large, central district of the city of Athens. Ampelokipoi is in the center of Athens, near Zografou, Goudi, Psychiko and Pagkrati. The area is famous for hosting Panathinaikos's home ground since it was inaugurated in 1922. Two metro stations are located in the district: the Ambelokipi station and the Panormou station. Lambis Serafidis
Lambis Serafidis ( el, Λάμπης Σεραφείδης; 1929 – 20 August 2003) was a Greek professional footballer who played as a forward and a manager. Club career Serafidis played mainly as a left winger and started his football career at a club of his neighborhood, AE Ierapolis. At the age of 17, he moved to AEK Athens, where he played for three season, however he did not manage to participate in an official match. In 1949 he moved to the neighboring Apollon Athens playing for two years. In 1951 he returned to AEK, where he remained for another three seasons until 1954, having 9 appearances and 6 goals in the Athens championship. In 1954 Serafidis rejoined Apollon Athens until 1963, when he retired from the as a footballer.
