1949–50 Greek Football Cup
The 1949–50 Greek Football Cup was the eighth edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, held at Leoforos Alexandras Stadium, Athens on 28 May 1950. The match was contested by AEK Athens and Aris, with AEK Athens winning by 4–0. Panachaiki G.E. (Greek: Παναχαϊκή Γυμναστική Ένωση, ''Panachaiki Gymnastiki Enosi'', "Pan- Achaean Gymnastic Union") is a Greek multi-sport club based in the city of Patras, Greece. The history of Panachaiki began in 1891, when Panachaikos Gymnastikos Syllogos (Pan-Achaean Gymnastic Club) was founded. In 1894, a rival sports club, Gymnastiki Eteria Patron (Gymnastic Company of Patras), was founded in Patras by former Panachaikos' members. It was only in 1923 that the two clubs agreed to merge, forming Panachaiki Gymnastiki Enosi. Throughout a history of over 120 years, Panachaiki's athletes have won several Olympic medals. Esperos (in el, Π.Ο.Κ. Έσπερος) is a sports club in Kallithea (within greater Athens, Greece), founded in 1943 during the Nazi occupation of the country (1941–44). Keratsini Football Club ( el, Α.Π.Ο. Κερατσίνι) is a Greek football club based in Keratsini, Piraeus, Greece. It plays in Piraeus local championship (EPS Piraeus). History Keratsini was founded in 1926 by Mpiskos and Diatsigkos with the name AO Neapoli, who later became ESKO IE, one of the Union Clubs Keratsini Orfeas.
