The 1943–44 Segunda División season was the 13th since its establishment and was played between 26 September 1943 and 9 April 1944. Unlike past season, all the teams played in a single group of 14 teams. Segunda División
The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Segunda División, commercially known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. Administrated by the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, it is contested by 22 teams, with the top two teams plus the winner of a play-off promoted to LaLiga and replaced by the three lowest-placed teams in that division. History This championship was created in 1929 by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The league has been national, single-table except for a period from 1949 to 1968 in which it was regionalized into two North and South groups. Barakaldo Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team based in Barakaldo, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. Founded in 1917 it plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 4, holding home matches at '' Lasesarre'', with a capacity of 7,960 seats. History Barakaldo played the 1918–19 season in the Category C of the Regional Championship and became the champion without losing a single game throughout the season, promoted to category B. Barakaldo lost its place in the second category in the 1944–45 season, but in the 1945–46 season the club returned to the Segunda División. Inca () is a town on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The population of the municipality is 32,137 (2018) in an area of 58.4 km². Estadio Alfonso Murube is a football stadium in the autonomous city of Ceuta, Spain in Northern Africa. It is the home stadium of AD Ceuta FC, who currently play in Segunda División B - Group 4, with a capacity of 6,500 seats. Ceuta

Estadio Benito Villamarín is a stadium in Seville, Spain, and the home of Real Betis since its completion in 1929. It has a capacity of 60,720. History Construction As early as 1912, the Spanish architect Aníbal González Álvarez-Ossorio had an initial design of a stadium for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. The executive committee has commissioned the architect Antonio Illanes del Río to complete the design in 1923. Alcoy ( ca-valencia, Alcoi) is an industrial and university city, region and municipality located in the Valencian Community, Spain. The Serpis river crosses the municipal boundary of Alcoy.
