1938 Estonian Cup
The 1938 Estonian Cup ( et, Eesti Karikas) was the first season of the Estonian football knockout tournament. 11 teams took part of the competition. In that time there was no penalty shoot-out after extra time. Because of that another final had to be arranged as the first match ended 1–1. In the second match, played on November 6 in Kadriorg Stadium, VS Sport Tallinn narrowly won over Tallinna Jalgpalliklubi, thus becoming the first cup champions of Estonia. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. JK Tallinna Kalev, also known as Tallinna Kalev or simply Kalev, is a football club based in Tallinn, Estonia, that competes in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football. It is located in Ida-Viru county, at the eastern extreme point of Estonia, on the west bank of the Narva river which forms the Estonia–Russia international border. SK Tallinna Sport is a defunct Estonian football club, founded in 1912 and then re-established in 2003. The club won nine domestic league titles before Estonia became a part of Soviet Union. The club also played bandy in the interwar years, becoming Estonian champions of this sport eleven times in the 1920s and 1930s. At last the club played in the III Liiga (Pőhi), northern zone of Estonian Third league, fourth tier of Estonian football pyramid.
