1926 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1926 Norwegian Football Cup was the 25th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. Odd won their 10th title, having beaten Ørn in the final. Brann were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Urædd in the quarterfinal. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. They play their home matches at Brann Stadion where they had a record-breaking 17,310 in average attendance in the 2007 season. In October 2007, Brann won the Norwegian league title for the first time since 1963. Yrjö William Kanerva (26 November 1902 – 10 October 1956) was a Finnish international footballer who earned 51 caps at international level between 1922 and 1938, scoring 13 goals. The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football (soccer), football in Norway. Frigg Oslo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Majorstua in Oslo. It has sections for association football and bandy. History It was founded on 17 May 1904 as ''SK Frigg'', named after Frigg of Norse mythology. It was merged on 21 April 1954 with ''SK Varg''. It took the name ''Frigg Oslo FK'' in 1990. Ullevaal Stadion () is an all-seater football stadium located in Oslo, Norway. It is the home ground of the Norway national football team, and the site of the Norwegian Cup Final. From its opening in 1926 to 2009 it was the home ground of FK Lyn and from 1999 to 2017 was a home ground of Vålerenga IF. With a capacity of approximately 28,000, it is the largest football stadium in Norway. The national stadium is fully owned by the Football Association of Norway (NFF). Fotballklubben Narvik/Nor was a Norwegian association football club from Narvik. It existed until late 1997, when it was merged with junior partner FK Mjølner to form Narvik FK. Narvik FK changed its name to Mjølner FK in 2005. History The club won the Northern Norwegian Cup in 1929, 1937, 1950 og 1959. Neset Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club located in Frosta, Trøndelag. The club was founded 1 June 1905 as ''Trygg''. The men's team currently plays in 5. divisjon, the sixth tier of the Norwegian football league system. Neset play their home games at Vinnatrøa kunstgress.
