1912 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1912 was the eleventh staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition started on 31 March 1912, and concluded on 12 April 1912, with the final, held at the Industria Stadium in Barcelona, in which FC Barcelona lifted the trophy for the second time ever after a 2–0 victory over Sociedad Gimnástica thanks to goals from Alfredo Massana, Pepe Rodríguez. Six teams were planned to take place in the tournament, but Athletic de Bilbao and Academia de Infantería withdrew just before the start of the tournament. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. John Hamilton (Barcelona Footballer)
John Hamilton (7 February 1876 – 10 April 1947) was a Scottish footballer who played as a goalkeeper and defender for Spanish club FC Barcelona. The dates of his birth and death are unknown. Although little has been recorded of his life, he was one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of football in Catalonia, being noted for his prominent role in promoting football in the city and as the main driving force of Escocès FC, a team made up of Scottish workers from a Sant Andreu factory, which he served as its captain. He was a member of the side that won the very first official title in Spanish football, the 1900–01 Copa Macaya with Hispania AC. And in addition to being a player, he was also a referee, overseeing at least one match in the 1900–01 Copa Macaya, tens of Catalan championship games, the 1912 Copa del Rey Final, and being the first president of the Catalan Referees' Association in 1902. José Manuel Kindelán
José Manuel Kindelán Duany (8 October 1887 – 9 November 1919) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for RCD Espanyol and Sociedad Gimnástica. Biography Born in Cádiz, he moved to Madrid as a child, and enventually joined Club Español de Madrid in 1908, helping the club win its first piece of silverware, the 1908–09 Centro Championship, and then reached the 1909 Copa del Rey Final, which they lost 1-3 to Club Ciclista. His great campaign with Español earned him a move to Sociedad Gimnástica in 1909, featuring alongside the likes of José Carruana and Sócrates Quintana. Kindelán once again played an important role in the first piece of silverware of a club, this time contributing to Gimnástica winning the 1909–10 Centro Championship, and again in 1910–11 and 1913–14. Camp de la Indústria () or Campo de la calle Indústria was a multi-use stadium in Barcelona, Spain. It was initially used as the home venue of FC Barcelona, until the team moved to Camp de Les Corts in 1922. The capacity of the stadium was 6,000 spectators. The stadium is regarded as the main element that helped the club grew in the 1910s. FC Espanya De Barcelona
FC Espanya de Barcelona, was a Spanish Catalan football club based in Barcelona. They enjoyed a golden age during the 1910s and were Catalan champions three times during the decade. They were also Copa del Rey runners-up in 1914. By 1923 the club had changed its name to Gràcia FC and in 1932 it merged with CE Europa.
