IFK Norrköping
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Norrköping, more commonly known as IFK Norrköping or simply Norrköping, is a Swedish professional football club based in Norrköping. The club is affiliated to Östergötlands Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Östgötaporten. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are white and blue. Formed on 29 May 1897, the club have won thirteen national championship titles and six national cup titles. The club plays in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, which they first won in 1943. IFK Norrköping were most successful during the 1940s, when they won five Swedish championships and two Svenska Cupen titles under the Hungarian coach Lajos Czeizler and with players like Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm. Edvard Swartz
Edvard Maurits Swartz (15 February 1826, Stockholm – 14 December 1897, Stockholm), was a Swedish stage actor. He was one of the star actors of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in the mid 19th century. Life Edvard Swartz became a student of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1839, and was employed at the ''Mindre teatern'' in 1845–53 before being given a contract at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1853, where he made a success. He was seen as a great talent in tragedy and hero parts, and for his "deep sense of feeling". He was considered very attractive during his first years at the royal stage: when he did the role of Rochester in ''Jane Eyre'', the papers spoke of the "Swartzsjuka" (the "Swartz Illness", referring to attraction) which had erupted in the audience. Catharina Fredrika Limnell née Forssberg (14 July 1816 – 12 September 1897), was a Swedish people, Swedish philanthropist, mecenate, feminist and salon (gathering), salonist. Private life Fredrika Forssberg was born in Härnösand Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden, as the daughter of lektor Olof Fredrik Forssberg and Catharina Margareta Svedbom. She had two siblings, but the elder sister died in first year of life and her younger sister drowned when she was 13. Fredrika Limnell was raised in a literary home and had the ability to cultivate her interests in literature and music. Prior to her first marriage, she was engaged to the poet Anders Grafström, but the engagement was terminated on her initiative. Robert Themptander
Oscar Robert Themptander (14 February 1844 – 30 January 1897) was a Swedish politician and public official who was Prime Minister of Sweden from 1884 to 1888 during the reign of King Oscar II, and Governor of Stockholm County from 1888 to 1896. He was also Minister for Finance. At the age of 40 years and 92 days, Themptander is the youngest person to become Prime Minister in Swedish history. His death at the age of 52 years and 351 days makes him also the youngest prime minister at his death. Per-Erik Hedlund (18 April 1897 – 12 February 1975) was a Swedish cross-country skier. He competed in the 18 and 50 km events at the 1924 and 1928 Olympics and won the gold medal over 50 km in 1928, more than 13 minutes ahead of fellow Swede Gustaf Jonsson.
