A total of 1,809, about one third of Helsingør's population, are killed by the disease in 1711. The efforts to keep the disease from spreading fail and a total of 40,000 people in Copenhagen and northern Zealand are killed by the disease during the outbreak. The blockade of Helsingør is not lifted until 25 July 1712. Daniel Ernst Bille (7 April 171125 February 1790)Topsøe-Jensen, vol 1, pp. 115-116 was a naval officer and rear admiral in the service of the Danish crown. Personal Bille was born on 7 April 1711, the son of captain Just Billea member of the junior line of the Danish noble family - see :da: Bille (adelsslægt) and Catherine Maule. He was a nephew of admiral Michel Bille. On 8 July 1738, he was married in the naval church in Copenhagen to Johanne Sophie Amalie Stibolt (of the Christiansø Stibolt family) They lived in a now demolished building at Dronningens Tværgade No. 340 (later Dronningens Tværgade 40, now part of Prinsessegården) at the time of the 1787 census. They lived there with their daughters Vathrine and Charlotte Bille, their sons Just and Steen Andersen Bille, his wife's niece, Sophie Bille, and the widow, Mette Anders Datter Munch. Erik Pauelsen
Erik Pauelsen (2 or 14 October 1749 – 20 February 1790) was a Denmark, Danish painter. He is most notable for his landscapes and was also a popular portraitist. However, he did not experience the same level of success as Jens Juel (painter), Jens Juel and Nicolai Abildgaard, his contemporaries, and in 1790 he committed suicide. Biography Erik Pauelsen was born in Østerballe Parish in Himmerland some time between 2 and 14 October 1749. From an early age he had his mind set on becoming an artist. He travelled to Copenhagen and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1770 to 1777 where he won the large silver medal and the small gold medal in 1775 and finally the large gold medal in 1777 together with the Academy's travel scholarship. He travelled to Rome by way of Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Paris and visited Dresden and Berlin on his way back. During his travels he became a member of several foreign art academies and was granted the title of professor in Düsseldorf. ...

Georg Gerson
Georg Gerson (also ''George''; 14 October 1790 – 16 February 1825) was a Denmark, Danish composer and banker. Most of his works are orchestral. Life Gerson was the son of the Königsberg banker Heyman Gerson (1765–1839), who bore the title ''Chaijm Kenigsberg'' on his the letter of escort to Copenhagen in 1789, and Sprinzche Esperance Melchior (1771–1797). He was born into a soon-to-be-prosperous Reform Jewish family, who, like most Jewish residents in Copenhagen, spoke German. He had a sister, a half-brother, and a half-sister. Georg Gerson showed business talent as a teenager in his classes at the philanthropic . At the age of 15, he was sent to Hamburg to apprentice at Fürst, Haller & Comp. He was also very talented musically. In 1807 his teacher introduced him to amateur musicians who performed string quartets on domestic salon music evenings.
