Hans Olof Holmström
Hans Olof Holmström (15 October 1784 - 27 August 1855) was a Swedish bishop within the Church of Sweden. He was the archbishop of Uppsala between 1852 and 1855. Biography He was born in the parish of Ösmo, Sweden, the son of Stefan Holmström and Engel Risberg. Holmström had received a master's degree at Uppsala University in 1806 and three years later was appointed associate professor of Latin in 1811 and in 1816 became an associate professor of the Faculty of Philosophy. He was appointed vicar of Dunker-Lilla Malma parish in 1828. He was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Strängnäs in 1839 and held this office until 1852, when he was called to serve as archbishop of Uppsala and vice chancellor of the University of Uppsala Uppsala University ( sv, Uppsala universitet) is a public research university in Uppsala, Sweden. Georg Haupt (10 August 1741, in Stockholm – 18 September 1784, in Stockholm) was a Swedish cabinet maker. Haupt was the son of a Nuremberg carpenterFleming, John & Hugh Honour. Henrik Af Trolle
Henrik af Trolle (24 November 1730 – 12 March 1784) was a Swedish naval officer and commander of the Swedish Archipelago fleet. He was ennobled in 1772. He is considered to be one of the foremost administrators and developers of the Swedish Navy throughout the ages (together with Claes Larsson Fleming and Hans Wachtmeister). History Henrik Trolle was born in 1730 to the Danish admiral Georg Herman von Trolle, who had entered Swedish service, and Anna Margareta Grill. At age ten his father sent him to serve in the navy, where he spent the next thirteen years, advancing to the rank of second mate. During one adventurous journey outside South America, Trolle's ship encountered four Spanish vessels and fought a four-hour-long battle, which ended with the entire Swedish crew being captured and imprisoned. Catharina ''Charlotta'' Löfgren (January 1720, Linköping – 14 February 1784), was a Sweden, Swedish lady of letters and poet. Biography Charlotta Löfgren was the daughter of the local official Anders Löfgréen (d. 1728) and Anna Schreibe and the sister of the poet Henrik Anders Löfgren. She married in 1738 to the vicar Petrus Lagerman (1706–1790), who occasionally wrote poems as well. She lived in Norrköping from 1746, where she was a local literary celebrity and wrote poems for festive public occasions. Löfgren was published both in name and anonymously, which means that a significant amount of her poems are unidentified. She is believed to be the author "C.C.L", who published numerous poems in the period of 1742–1764. Most of her poems describe individual women, and in one poem from 1748, she makes herself the spokesperson of women and salutes Pagan Roman gods. Gustaf Wilhelm Finnberg
Gustaf Wilhelm Finnberg (21 November 1784 – 28 June 1833) was a Finnish painter. Biography Finnberg was born in Pargas to sailor Johan Finnberg and Sophia Stenroos. In 1800 he left for Turku to apprentice as a painter there, and in 1805 he graduated as a journeyman painter, with his graduation work being a portrait of a man drawn with Sanguine, red chalk. He spent the years 1806 he left to Stockholm to study at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts. From the recommendation of Louis Masreliez he was immediately accepted to the higher courses. Although he had success in his studies, he never officially graduated. After 1814 he is no longer in the registry of students, although in 1815 he still took part in a students' contest for the topic Diogenes and Alexander, Alexander visits Diogenes and won first prize.
