15th Central Committee Of The Communist Party Of China
The 15th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was in session from 1997 to 2002. The 14th Central Committee preceded it. It was followed by the 16th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. This was the first Central Committee that current Chinese Paramount Leader Xi Jinping was elected to, as an alternative member. It elected the 15th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party in 1997. Chinese Communist Party
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), officially the Communist Party of China (CPC), is the founding and One-party state, sole ruling party of the China, People's Republic of China (PRC). Under the leadership of Mao Zedong, the CCP emerged victorious in the Chinese Civil War against the Kuomintang, and, in 1949, Mao Proclamation of the People's Republic of China, proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Wang Maorun
Wang Maorun (; 6 May 1936 – 17 October 2008) was a general in the People's Liberation Army of China who served as political commissar of the PLA National Defence University between 1995 and 2001. He was a representative of the 11th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. He was a member of the 14th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He was a member of the 15th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Tian Chengping
Tian Chengping (; born January 1945) is a politician in the People's Republic of China. Biography Born in Daming County, Hebei Province, Tian joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in April 1964, and started working in February 1968. He served in the Beijing Petrochemical Factory, the Qianjin Chemical Industry Factory affiliated to Beijing Petrochemical Factory, and the Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation. Tian Fengshan
Tian Fengshan (; born October 1940 in Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang) is a former Chinese politician who was convicted of corruption and sentenced to life in prison. Biography Tian became a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1970. His positions include: Heilongjiang governor (February 1995), Minister of Land and Resources (March 2000). Tian was removed from this position in October 2003. Ye Liansong (; born March 1935) is a Chinese politician who served as Communist Party Secretary (1998–2000) and Governor (1993–1998) of Hebei Province. Prior to his political career he worked for two decades as an engineering professor at his alma mater Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and then as chief engineer of Shijiazhuang Diesel Engine Factory. Shi Yunsheng (; born 1940 in Fushun, Liaoning) is a retired naval aviator and admiral of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) of China. He was the fifth commander of the PLAN (1996–2003). He was the commander of air force of South Sea Fleet, and was promoted to vice commander of air force of Navy in 1990. Two years later, he was promoted to vice commander of PLA Navy. Yun Bulong (; December 1937 – 12 June 2000) was a Chinese politician of Tumed Mongol ethnicity. He served as Chairman (Governor) of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1998 until his accidental death in June 2000, when his car was hit by a train at a railway crossing. Wang Ruilin (; January 1930 – 8 December 2018) was a general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
