1Da Banton
Godson Ominibie Epelle (born 27 June 1994), known professionally as 1Da Banton, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known for his song "No Wahala", first released in 2021, and re-released in 2022 as a remix featuring Kizz Daniel and Tiwa Savage. Background and career 1Da Banton was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was pursuing a degree in civil engineering before he decided to drop out and begin his music career. He relocated to Lagos in 2014 after signing a deal with Adasa Cookey's Squareball Entertainment. In July 2017, he released his debut extended play (EP) titled ''The Banton EP''. One of the EP's songs, "Way Up", was used as the theme song for the third season of ''Big Brother Naija''. He gained widespread recognition after the release of "No Wahala", which was one of the tracks on his album ''Original Vibe Machine'', released in 2021. Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua (born Oluwaseyi Joshua; 21 December 1985), professionally known as Seyi Shay (pronounced Shay-yee Shay), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. She wrote and produced three songs for the soundtrack to Konami's video game '' Crime Life: Gang Wars'' (2005). The organizers opened a portal for the public, to submit entries on 4 August 2021, and recorded 2500 entries, on October 6. Nominees were revealed on October 29, 2021. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, BEN Television, and MTV Base, and hosted by Victory Wilson, Boda Wasiu, and Saco. It celebrated entertainment personalities across 25 voting categories, with 3 honorary Awards (non-voting).
