19th Bangladesh National Film Awards
The 19th Bangladesh National Film Awards, presented by Ministry of Information, Bangladesh to felicitate the best of Bangladeshi Cinema released in the year 1994. The ceremony took place in Dhaka and awards were given by then President of Bangladesh. The National Film Awards are the only film awards given by the government itself. Every year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry, and the award ceremony is held in Dhaka. 1994 was the 19th ceremony of National Film Awards. The president of Bangladesh ( bn, বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি — ) officially the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh ( bn, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি —) is the head of state of Bangladesh and commander-in-chief of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The Ifad Film Club Award is presented by Bangladesh Film Club to honour performances in different sectors of films. The official sponsor of the award is Ifad Group and the media partner is NTV. History The Ifad Film Club Award 2012 was the first and last. As of 2015, only one awards presentation made. ''Meril Prothom Alo Awards'' or ''Prothom Alo Awards'' is an annual Bangladeshi awards ceremony honouring cinematic achievements in Bangladeshi Film Industry. Kazi Harun is a Bangladeshi make-up artist. He won National Film Award for Best Make-up Artist for working in ''Hridoy Theke Hridoy'' in 1994. He worked in over 100 films. Biography Harun made his debut in Dhallywood with ''Milon'' in 1965. Later, he worked in films like ''Beder Meye Josna'', ''Anya Jibon'', ''Hridoy Theke Hridoy'', ''Shangkhamala'', ''Golapi Ekhom Dhakay'', ''Jibon Sangsar'' and more.
