1999–2000 Ukrainian Second League
The 1999–2000 Ukrainian Second League is the ninth season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions are divided into three groups – A, B, and C. The groups were won respectively by FC Bukovyna Chernivtsi, FC Borysfen Boryspil and FC Dnipro-2 Dnipropetrovsk. FC Papirnyk Malyn was a Ukrainian football team based in Malyn, Zhytomyr Oblast. Overview The club participated in the Ukrainian Second League Group A for four seasons (1997–2000). Afterwards the club was forced to withdraw its team from the professional competitions due to various reasons, but mainly the new regulations of the League. FC Hazovyk-Skala Stryi
FC Skala 1911 Stryi was a Ukrainian football team. The team is based in Stryi, Ukraine. History Over the years there were several clubs connected with Skala Stryi starting from 1911. Club of Austria-Hungary and Poland The first recorded match in Stryi was at times of Austria-Hungary, so called Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria on 29 June 1906 when a team of Stryj gymnasium (high school) lost to a team from Lemberg (Lviv). It was renamed as ''Hazovyk-Khurtovyna'' adding a name of the former Ukrainian club that existed in Komarno prior to the Soviet invasion of Halychyna in 1939. In 2004 this team under the name of FC Hazovyk-Skala Stryi won the Druha Liha Group A championship and was promoted to the Ukrainian First League. FC Kalush
FC Kalush ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Калуш») was a Ukrainian professional football club from Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. History The club was founded soon after World War II as Khimik Kalush and in the Soviet competitions competed at regional level and KFK (amateur level). The club was reestablished in place of previously existed Polish club at the chemical plant TESP that also was overtaken by Soviets. Khimik Kalush also was associated with the Soviet chemical and metallurgical association "Khlorvinil" that was expanded in 1961. At KFK level the club competed until 1995, when as Khimik entered the Druha Liha. Its main sponsor "Khlorvinil" was reorganized as a state enterprise "Oriana". Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne ( uk, РНК «Верес») is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The club competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, after winning the 2020–21 Ukrainian First League. Their home stadium until 2017 was Avanhard Stadium. As it is under reconstruction, they currently play home matches at Avanhard Stadium in Lutsk. FC Mykolaiv is a football club based in Mykolaiv, Lvivska Oblast, Ukraine. Overview The club was originally called Tsementnyk-Khorda Mykolaiv and was supported by the cement factory in the town. Football Club Desna Chernihiv ( uk, ФК «Десна» Чернігів) is a Ukrainian football club based in Chernihiv. 1990 Soviet Second League, Zone West
1990 Soviet Second League, Zone West was part of the season of association football competition of the Soviet Second League. The Zone West of the Second League was established as part of reorganization of the whole Second League when it was split into upper Second League (with three zones) and lower Second League (with ten zones). The competition was won by Bukovina Chernovtsy. The games in the group started on April 7, 1990 with 8 match ups and finished on November 8, 1990 with final 11 matches. 1991 Soviet Second League, Zone West
1991 Soviet Second League, Zone West was the last season of association football competition of the Soviet Second League in the Zone West. The competition was won by FC Karpaty Lviv. The group (zone) consisted predominantly out of Ukrainian clubs. With fall of the Soviet Union and discontinuation of Soviet competition, most clubs of the group joined their top national leagues. Because of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War (Operation Ring), many clubs refused to travel to Azerbaijan and were awarded technical losses.
