Max Mirnyi and Serena Williams were the defending champions but Williams did not compete due to injury. Mirnyi competed with Mary Pierce but lost in the second round to Martin Damm and Barbara Rittner. Leander Paes and Lisa Raymond defeated Jonas Björkman and Anna Kournikova in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–3 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 1999 Wimbledon Championships. Leander Paes
Leander Adrian Paes ( ; born 17 June 1973) is an Indian former professional tennis player. He is regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players ever. He holds the record for the most doubles wins in the Davis Cup. Paes won eight men's doubles and ten mixed doubles Grand Slam titles. He holds a career Grand Slam in men's doubles and mixed doubles, and achieved the rare men's/mixed double at the 1999 Wimbledon Championships. David Dixie Adams (born 5 January 1970) is a former tennis player from South Africa. He turned professional in 1989. Karina Habšudová
Karina Habšudová (; born 2 August 1973) is a Slovak former professional tennis player. She has been ranked as high as 10 in the world (1997). Together with Karol Kučera, she won the Hopman Cup in 1998. David Rikl (born 27 February 1971) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Andrew Florent (24 October 1970 – 16 August 2016) was an Australian professional tennis player. Florent was born in Melbourne to parents who had migrated from Mauritius.
