Russian First Division
The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. The Russian Professional Football League (PFL) used to run the division. Since 2011, it has been managed by the Football National League. The league consists of 18 clubs. After each season the two top clubs are promoted to the Premier League, and the bottom four clubs are relegated to the Russian Professional Football League. Third and fourth team play in home-and-away promotion play-offs against the 13th and 14th Premier League teams. Pavel Sadyrin
Pavel Fyodorovich Sadyrin (russian: Павел Фёдорович Садырин; 18 September 1942 – 1 December 2001) was a Soviet and Russian footballer and manager. Career Sadyrin played as a midfielder for Zvezda Perm and Zenit Leningrad. As a manager, he led Zenit to their only Soviet championship in 1984. In 1991, he won the cup and the last Soviet title with CSKA Moscow. Sadyrin also won promotions to the top flight with CSKA (in 1989) and Zenit (in 1995). Sadyrin was the manager of Russia national team in 1992-1994 and led Russia at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. In 2001, he died of cancer. FC Tom Tomsk (russian: Футбольный клуб Томь Томск) is a Russian professional football club, based in the Siberian city of Tomsk. The team plays in Trud Stadium (Tomsk). History The team was previously named ''Burevestnik'' (1957), ''Tomich'' (1958, 1961–1963), ''Sibelektromotor'' (1959–1960), ''Torpedo'' (1964–1967, 1974–1978), ''Tomles'' (1968–1973) and ''Manometr'' (1979–1987). FC Chita is a Russian association football club based in Chita. The club was founded in 1984 as a result of reorganization of FC Lokomotiv Chita which was excluded from the First Division. Leonid Yosipovich Buryak ( uk, Леонід Йосипович Буряк; born 10 July 1953) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian football (soccer), football Coach (sport), coach, and a former Olympic bronze medal, bronze-medal-winning player. Career Buryak was born in Odessa, in the Soviet Union. He was a midfielder for the USSR national football team. He competed for the Soviet Union at the 1976 Summer Olympics, at which he won a bronze medal.
