1998–99 Macedonian Football Cup
The 1998–99 Macedonian Football Cup was the 7th season of Macedonia's football knockout competition. FK Vardar defended their title, having won their fourth title. Group 1 Pobeda and Vardar were advanced to the quarterfinal, the other teams in group were Kumanovo and Sasa. FK Vardar Skopje ( mk, ФК Вардар Скопје), or simply Vardar, is a football club based in the capital city of Skopje, North Macedonia, North Macedonia. The club was founded in 1947 and currently competes in the Macedonian Second Football League. 1998–99 Macedonian First Football League
The 1998–99 Macedonian First League was the 7th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. The first matches of the season were played on 9 August 1998 and the last on 29 May 1999. Sileks were the defending champions, having won their third title in a row. The 1998-99 champions were Sloga Jugomagnat who had won their first title. Promotion and relegation 1 Bregalnica Shtip was removed from the league after the round 19, due to their absence in a scheduled match against Sloga Jugomagnat. Bitola
Bitola (; mk, Битола ) is a city in the southwestern part of North Macedonia. Toše Proeski National Arena ( mk, Национална арена "Тоше Проески") is a sports stadium in Skopje, North Macedonia. Artim Šakiri ( mk, Артим Шаќири, sq, Artim Shaqiri; born 23 September 1973) is a Macedonian football manager and a former midfielder from North Macedonia. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins.
